Hi everyone,

We have a concern regarding LiveAvatar’s HIPAA compliance.

We are currently using custom/lite mode, and we need clarity on how data is handled in this configuration. Specifically:

• Is LiveAvatar HIPAA compliant in custom/lite mode?
• Does it store or log any audio data (temporarily or permanently)?
• Are transcripts, metadata, or session recordings retained anywhere?

Since we’re operating in a healthcare context, it’s critical for us to ensure that no PHI is stored or processed in a way that violates HIPAA requirements.

Could someone clarify the data retention and storage policies for this mode?
