500 Error on session start API as "Embed"

We are reporting a critical failure of your API that occurred during our live event today. Our integration was rendered useless by the following error:

Access to fetch at 'https://api.liveavatar.com/v1/sessions/start' from origin 'XXX' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

Coupled with a 500 Internal Server Error, it appears your backend failed to handle requests or lost its configuration for allowed origins. This caused significant reputational damage to us as we were unable to demonstrate our product to our audience. We expect a post-mortem on why this happened and what steps are being taken to ensure 100% uptime for 'start session' endpoints in the future.
