Does it support auto language detection?

We are implementing LiveAvatar via API Call and need the avatar to automatically detect and respond in the same language as the user speaks (English or Hindi), without manual language selection via API Call. The same way it is in live version. Could the reason be that we are using Sandbox mode? And without sandbox mode it will work with auto language detection, just like in the live version of avatars on the UI?
